As a Certified Home Health Aide with Alaskan Home Health, Inc., you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their homes. Required Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Home Health Aide in the State of Alaska

Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Certified Home Health Aide in a home care or healthcare setting

Current BLS/CPR certification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Valid driver’s license and car insurance

Reliable transportation
-
Willing to travel from home to home, participate in on-call and weekend/holiday coverage rotations

Good driving record

Familiarity with diverse client populations, including the elderly and individuals with varying healthcare needs.
Essential Functions:

Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, in accordance with individual care plans.

Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe home environment.

Monitor and report changes in clients' health or living conditions.

Foster a caring and supportive relationship with clients and their families.

Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
Salary: The hourly range for Alaskan residents is based on the prevailing wage rates issued by National Prevailing Wage Center for the current year, as well as several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
